We are especially excited to announce our latest release Knoet.2. With this release we bring two much requested workflows to CodeGrade: limiting the number of student submissions and continuous rubrics that work together seamlessly with AutoTest and your test scripts.

Together with polishing our rubric editor, we have added an innovative new type of rubric category: Continuous Rubrics. Continuous Rubric Categories are designed to work together seamlessly with AutoTest by better mapping to capture points steps. You can now build rubrics that contain a mix of discrete and continuous rubric categories to optimally communicate automatic test results with students!

Additionally, we have made it possible to limit the amount a student can hand in for one assignment. Limits can either be set by a maximum on the total amount of submissions or using a cool-off period.

Next to these two features, we updated and fixed a few more minor things in CodeGrade, read our full changelog here.

After multiple feature-rich releases, next month’s release will include more back-end improvements to make CodeGrade ready for the future. Amongst this will be an upgrade to the newest LTI 1.3 Advantage protocol!
